You Can't Have It Both Ways
My boyfriend and I had been dating for about eight months and, from what I could tell, everything was great. One night we are on the phone laughing and having a great time just talking. All of a sudden, he started acting weird. I asked him what was up, and he said he thought we should take a break. By then I didn't understand what was going on. I was so surprised. I asked him why he felt that way, and all he could say was that we fought too much. The next day at school, everyone knew about it. I'm talking small town here. I was so upset at the time that I didn't know what to do. I mean, I have never cried so much in my whole life. Well, the next thing I knew, he was all over this girl that I couldn't stand from the first day I laid eyes on her. I came to find out that they were passing notes saying how much they liked each other. This went on for a week. Finally, we got back together, but it just wasn't the same. He told me I wasn't allowed to tell anyone we were together. Well, I wasn't about to keep my mouth shut! I was out of school for about two days. When I come back, people were telling me that he and this girl were all over each other again. Finally, I had enough. I walked up to her and told her to back off, that he and I were together again. She told me that he told her differently. To make a long story short, everything worked out and now my boyfriend and I have been dating for a year. He found out that you can't have two girls at once.
