When I moved to a new city, I wasn't really into anything that the people did there. I just kind of went along with everything. I didn't know anyone, either; it was like a fresh start. One day, when I was walking out of my apartment, I saw an attractive girl and decided that now was the time to start meeting people. So I went up to her and, after we talked for a bit, I asked her out on a date. I didn't know much about her, but what I did know, I liked. When I was getting ready to go next door and pick her up, I saw her walking out of her apartment. I thought that maybe she had to go the store for something. So I just watched which way she went. She left and went to the park. I really couldn't begin to imagine what she was doing, so I decided to drive over there and see if she was OK. When I drove by, I saw her waiting on a bench. I decided to wait some more before I went over to her. Then a guy walked up to her. It looked like they knew each other. I got out of the car and walked up to her, saying, "Are we still on for that date?" She just turned to me and said, "I never said that I would go. By the way, this is my boyfriend, Tim."
