Poetry: Unrequited Love
Days Without Luck
by Bryon Harrelson

Shed so many tears
at first I was missing you
that's passed away, into so many buried years
had escaped my view

Nothing was in that fatal romance
we had lost all of it's climax
it had all wilted away
was buried deeply into facts

Had taken all the love
filled me with a great deal of pain
damaged my foolish pride
left me to drown in rain

We spent so many nights
that were filled with passion
you took them away
killed all of the obsession

There were so many days
thought I was in love
but they were the days
I spent with no luck
