When You Used to Kiss Me
When you used to kiss me, soft and sweet,
The trees stopped whispering,
Listening to the sound
Of this heart beat.
When you used to kiss me, my sweetest love,
The stars came closer for a moment,
Just long enough
That I could nearly rise above.
And when you used to kiss me, I always knew
I was the only one
You saved your heart for,
And I for you.
