One Night Stand
I got up this morning
from a bed that would of never been used
except for lust and booze
I didn't want to wake her
in the middle of her dream
that would be mean
besides I couldn't think of her name
and I don't think she knew mine
kept on calling me Mike
at the right time
she could of called me anything
in that embrace
how I loved the look on her face
her jeans and her boots
were lying on the floor
in front of the door
seemed to be daring me to leave
I moved them quietly
and I prayed they wouldn't scream
it was guilt if you know what I mean
we both got what we wanted
as we were satisfied
as I walked back to my car
couldn't wait to get
back to that bar.
