Browns, RB Hyde agree to deal

Running back Carlos Hyde agreed to a three-year deal with the Cleveland Browns worth $15 million, NFL Network reported on Wednesday.

Hyde, who attended Ohio State, led the San Francisco 49ers in rushing each of the past three seasons.

Hyde played in all 16 games last season for the first time in his career and caught 59 passes playing in his third offensive system as a pro.

The Browns have been busy under first-year general manager John Dorsey, including trading for wide receiver Jarvis Landry and quarterback Tyrod Taylor on Friday.

Running back Isaiah Crowell started for the Browns last season but on Tuesday agreed to a contract with the New York Jets.
