Delta on January 7 marked a century of flying with visions of a future in which artificial intelligence and internet age partnerships make air travel fun and seamless. The US airline introduced a generative AI-infused "Delta Concierge" that acts as a digital aid of sorts for customers along with alliances with Uber, YouTube, and Joby vertical take-off and landing air taxis all aimed at making travel easier and more personalized. AI built into the Fly Delta app will help people get to and even through airports and have Uber rides meet them at destinations, according to a presentation.
