Voters wearing Brazil national football team jerseys wait in line with a dog at a polling station during Brazil's presidential runoff election in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais State, Brazil, on October 25, 2026. Brazilians head to the polls for a runoff between President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and right-wing senator Flavio Bolsonaro that will determine whether Brazil remains one of the few leftist nations in the region or joins a regional swing to the right championed by US President Donald Trump, a Bolsonaro ally.
